Semi Cut
Semi cut-off wall packs send most light down but allow some forward and upward spill. That wider spread lights more of the wall face and reaches farther into open areas, which suits long building walls, storage yards and the outer edges of lots.

When semi cut-off is the better fit
Semi cut-off fixtures work well where there are no close neighbors or roads to protect from glare and where you want the building itself to look lit at night. They are also common as direct replacements for older forward-throw wall packs, since the light pattern is closer to what the site had before.
If part of the building faces homes or traffic, consider full cut-off fixtures on that side and semi cut-off elsewhere.
