Employee and visitor parking where charging needs to fit existing spaces, building entrances and daily arrival patterns.

EV charging · Homes & commercial properties
Edge installs EV chargers for commercial properties and homes. We start with your parking or garage, your electrical service and the people who will use the chargers, then define a practical installation scope for your site.
Who it's for
A charger at an office lot, a hotel entrance and an apartment garage serves different drivers on different schedules. Those differences shape where chargers go and what the installation involves.
Employee and visitor parking where charging needs to fit existing spaces, building entrances and daily arrival patterns.
Customer and guest parking where charger placement, signage space and pedestrian routes affect how the lot works.
Resident or visitor charging in shared lots and garages, coordinated with property management and common-area access.
Vehicles that return to the same location, where parking assignments and operating schedules shape the layout.
Site review
01
Where chargers go affects cable reach, vehicle positioning, curbs and wheel stops, pedestrian routes and the distance back to an electrical source. A space near the building may shorten wiring runs but change how the lot is used; a remote row may need a longer underground or surface route.
We review the parking layout with you before anything is selected, including how many spaces you want to serve now and whether additional locations may be considered later.
02
Chargers add electrical load. The existing service, panel space and other building loads need review before a scope is proposed; we do not assume an existing service can support any particular number of chargers.
If the review indicates that service equipment, a new panel or utility coordination may be needed, those items are identified as part of the project discussion rather than left to be discovered later.
03
Wall-mounted and pedestal-mounted equipment have different installation needs. Pavement, landscaping, existing underground utilities and parking structure conditions can all affect how wiring reaches the charger.
Charger technology is selected to suit the site, the vehicles and your goals; we discuss suitable options for your project rather than prescribing one type of equipment for every location.
How it works
Tell us the address, the parking areas you are considering and who will use the chargers. Photos of the lot and electrical room help.
We review charger locations, the existing electrical service, wiring routes, mounting and site conditions.
We outline the proposed installation scope, suitable equipment options and any items that need separate coordination.
Work is scheduled around parking access and operations, with any applicable permits and inspections identified for the project.
Indianapolis and Central Indiana are our local focus. Commercial and multi-location project inquiries elsewhere in the United States are considered based on scope, logistics, site access and applicable local requirements.

It depends on the service size, existing building loads, panel space and the number and type of chargers you want. We review those conditions before proposing a scope. If capacity is limited, we discuss options and any work that may need separate coordination.
Charger technology should suit your parking, the people using it, available electrical capacity and how long vehicles typically stay. We discuss suitable options for your site rather than recommending a single type of equipment for every project.
Requirements vary by jurisdiction and project. The applicable permits, inspections and any work needing qualified or licensed parties are identified for your specific project before installation is scheduled.
Some utilities and programs have offered incentives, but availability, eligibility and amounts change. We do not guarantee incentives. Check current program rules early, because some require approval before work begins.
Yes. Lighting is a separate service, but parking lot and exterior lighting can be reviewed alongside the charger locations so the charging area is considered as part of the overall site.
Tell us about your property
Share the property address, the parking areas you are considering and roughly how many charging spaces you want. Mention "EV chargers" in your message so we know what you need.
Photos of the parking area and electrical panel can help, but you can start with what you know. Do not include passwords or sensitive documents.
